Il letto fu esposto in Loggia Banchi a Genova all’interno della mostra “Sogno e sogni” proposta da Flou con la durata di un mese. L’ingresso era gratuito ed era possibile vedere i quattro lavori degli studenti di architettura e alcuni lavori di due artisti locali.

L’azienda italiana Flou ci ha chiesto per il suo 50° anniversario di riprogettare uno dei suoi pezzi cult di
arredamento. Ci è stato assegnato il letto Natalie. Avevamo carta bianca nella scelta del re-design. Abbiamo scelto di non alterare la struttura ma solo di cambiare il tema e
l’ambientazione del letto.
L’idea era quella di studiare il concetto del mostro sotto il letto. Quello che esce solo la notte al buio, quello per cui non mettiamo il piede fuori neanche quando c’è caldo. Il concept poi si è evoluto al mondo delle fiabe che è composto sia dal male, rappresentato sotto il letto, sia dal bene, che abbiamo narrato attraverso una storia che si muove lei stessa uscendo dal libro magico della fantasia.
The Italian company Flou asked for the 50th anniversary of uo redesign one of its cult. There has been assigned the read Natalie. We had carte blanche in choosing the re-design. We chose not to alter the property but only to change the theme and setting of the bed.
The idea was to study the concept of the monster under the bed. What comes out only at night in the dark, what you do not put your foot out even when there is hot. The concept then evolved in the world of fairy tales that is composed of both from evil, represented under the bed, both from the right, we have narrated through a story that moves herself leaving the magical book of fantasy.
